#520 SINGLE-JACKETED GASKET
Intended for narrow applications. Consists of a soft filler encased with
metal on one face and both edges. This kind of construction lends itself
to narrow-faced closures, since width diameter restrictions do not apply.
Non-circular shapes available.

#522 DOUBLE-JACKETED GASKET
Style #522 is Style #523 gasket with a corrugated metal filler. Can
be used in place of Style #523 soft filler gaskets.

#523 DOUBLE-JACKETED GASKET
Perfect for applications which require maximum protection of filler
material. Gasket also supplies extra support of flange at outer edge by
addition of lapped-over jacket. Construction consists of soft filler fully
encased in metal shell and top washer. Enclosed edges and additional protection
of washer make #523 well-suited for non-circular applications. Added thickness
of outer lap helps to avoid excessive distortion of light-weight flanges.
Gasket comes in non-circular, irregular shapes.

#524 JACKETED, OVERLAPPED GASKET
Intended for use when fully enclosed jacket is needed in narrower widths
than are available in the plain, double-jacketed type. Minimum I.D., one
inch. Made of a soft filler entirely encased by a single metal shell which
overlaps on one face.

#525 DOUBLE-ARMOURED GASKET
For applications where extra rigidity and strength are required. Constructed
of soft filler enclosed by two reversed and overlapping shells. This gasket
may be ordered in the same metals and diameter range as #523 for flange
widths over 1/4".

#526 DOUBLE-JACKETED CORRUGATED GASKET
Employs corrugated jacket for added resilience. Consists of soft filler
fully enclosed in corrugated metal shell and top in case of leakage across
inner edge. #526 is used for circular and moderately non-circular shapes
in 3/8" and wider widths, such as valve bonnet ovals.

#527 SINGLE-JACKETED ROUND CROSS-SECTION GASKET
Same as #520 except for grooved flanges.

#528 DOUBLE-JACKETED ROUND CROSS-SECTION GASKET
Same as #523 except for grooved flanges.

#530 ONE-PIECE FRENCH GASKET
The perfect gasket for narrow circular uses that require a positive,
unbroken metal gasket face across the full width. Typical applications:
valve bonnets, sight glasses, vacuum seals. This type gasket is constructed
by flanging a metal jacket over the inner edge and the two faces of a soft
filler while outer edge is left exposed. Maximum width is restricted by
the metal, diameter and gasket thickness.

#531 TWO-PIECE FRENCH GASKET
A modification of #530, incorporating two-piece construction. Designed
for irregular or wide shapes that do not need protection of filler material
or extra flange support at outer edge.

#534 INVERTED ONE-PIECE FRENCH GASKET
For applications in which outer edge of gasket is exposed to the fluid
pressure. Also used when a non-metallic gasket is required but mechanical
reinforcement is desired around outer edge. Construction consists of a soft
filler with metal jacket over outer edge and all or part of the two faces.

#535 INVERTED TWO-PIECE FRENCH GASKET
Same as above except when width is greater and can be made in one piece. |
